Our little meestah (that's "Mr." with an accent) has grown up into quite the young man. He tells his Mom everyday how much he loves her. He is also extremely complimentary . . . . "That's a cute shirt, Mom." "I sure like your hair today." You get the picture. He is learning all the states and their capitals alongside his sister. He likes to do EVERYTHING that Hayley does. They ride their scooters, draw pictures, and play with his collection of cars together. Ryan loves to run, dance to music, read books with Mom and Hayley, and talk to his Great-Grandma in Utah on the phone. And he is just like Mom in that he loves eating popcorn and red licorice. His favorite show is "Max and Ruby" and he would watch it for a large part of the day if allowed. He asks lots of questions. He loves going to Primary on Sunday and learning about Jesus and has a wonderful Sunbeam teacher. She is the best and he thinks so, too.
He looks a lot like his Dad and they share many of the same mannerisms as well as abilities. They are both extremely coordinated, agile, while maintaining balance, all at the same time. The boys play soccer together and Ryan kicks and controls the ball well. Ryan can also whip his body into a headstand position on the couch and watch TV that way. He does this for fun. And although Scott didn't teach him this particular trick, and doesn't typically watch TV in that position, he also has a flare for gymnastics-type moves.
